Approached from the west (Photo), your 5500+ square foot home stands apart from the surrounding neighbors. Colored stucco, accented with brick, and a high profile roof suggest old world influences while providing a strong connection to the Northwest (Photo). The long private road leads directly to the home, and while one arm branches off to the left to the hidden three car garage (Photo), the main drive curves into a circle on the right. A covered porch extends from the house, providing protection from natures elements and beckons visitors to come inside. The foyer is warm and gracious (Photo), two stories high with a wide central staircase (Photo) ending at a balcony bridge above. The living room is on the right and includes a piano (Photo) bay and a fireplace flanked by display cabinets. To the left is the open dining room (Photo) with a butler's pantry connection to the kitchen beyond. Past the stair, under the balcony, are the informal daily living areas.

The informal rooms are on the east side of the home, to take in the morning light. A brick fireplace flanked by windows is centered on the east wall of the two story family room (Photo), with four foot tall cabinets on either side for books and entertainment systems. At the south end of the family room, French doors and interior windows (Photo) open to the den, which us large enough for a billiard table (Photo) and a large desk. The den's fireplace (Photo), flanked by bookcases, backs up to the living room, and there is a convenient built-in wet bar. The kitchen is vary spacious (Photo), with a walk-in pantry, and is open to the family room over a large island (Photo) with cabinet "columns" on either side. The sunny nook bumps out between the kitchen and the family room, and is large enough to provide easy access to the covered porch at the rear of the home. The west wall of the kitchen opens on one end, revealing the wide staircase leading the the children's spaces above. A utility/mud room (Photo) off the kitchen provides a drop spot for dirty work clothes and sports equipment, and gives access to the oversized garage

.     At the top of the main stair, you can see into both the foyer and the family room, and there a alcove leads to the master suite (Photo). A pair of doors open on a small foyer, which reveals archways to the right and left. On the right is a cozy sitting area with a fireplace (Photo), and beyond the the private sleeping alcove. To the left of the foyer is a sumptuous bath accented by columns (Photo), and a combination walk-in closet and dressing room. Across the bridge right off the upper landing of the kitchen stair are the three children's bedrooms (Photo). They are larger then typical secondary bedrooms, with large closets and room to grow. The two eastern bedrooms share a split bath, and the west bedroom shares a hall bath with guests. A full sized laundry room is there as well. A large bonus room over the garage finishes off this floor, with built-ins for wide screen TV, room for games and parties, and closets for out-of-season items. All rooms on this level are tucked slightly under the rafters, to give the charm of sloping ceilings and dormer windows, creating room or window seats or other built-in spaces.
